Ricardo Manuel Perez-Montalvan Obituary, Death: 31-year-old man fatally shot in East Los Angeles identified
A 31-year-old man who was fatally shot in East Los Angeles was identified Wednesday by authorities.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's East Los Angeles station responded at approximately 8:15 p.m. Tuesday to the 4700 block of Telegraph Road, west of Arizona Avenue, following reports of a shooting, according to Lt. Steven De Jong.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered four adult men suffering from gunshot wounds. During the investigation, detectives determined the victims were seated inside a vehicle when multiple suspects approached and opened fire.
The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle traveling northbound on Arizona Avenue, De Jong said. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics, while the remaining three victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
