Bemidji: Man Charged After Group Home Threats
A Bemidji man is facing felony stalking and burglary charges after allegedly breaking into his neighbor's home while she was out of town, according to an amended criminal complaint filed Tuesday in Becker County District Court.
Nathan Christopher Crouch, 42, is charged with two felony counts — stalking with a pattern of conduct and second-degree burglary of a dwelling — along with one misdemeanor count of violating an order for protection.
According to the complaint, a neighbor called authorities around 11:44 p.m. on December 26 to report suspicious activity at a home in Becker County.
The neighbor told police that Crouch had asked to park his vehicle in his driveway and was “not acting normal.” He reported seeing Crouch walking around the outside of the house with a flashlight, then observed the light moving inside the home.
The neighbor stated he watched Crouch run back to his vehicle shortly afterward.
