Morton Grove Couple Found Dead in Aruba: Boris and Cristina Jozic Identified

Police in Aruba are investigating after two American tourists believed to be from the suburbs of Chicago were found dead at a hotel on the island.

Authorities said around 8:44 a.m. Sunday, police were notified that a person had fallen from a balcony at the St. Regis Hotel and appeared to be deceased.

When police and medical personnel arrived at the scene, they confirmed the man, identified as an American tourist, had died after jumping from the top floor of the hotel.

Aruba Police Investigation Ongoing

Police on the island, which is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, said they were contacted by the St. Regis Hotel around 8:45 a.m. Sunday. Hotel staff reported that a guest had fallen from a balcony.

Upon arrival, authorities found the man deceased at the scene. Officials later confirmed that a second American tourist, believed to be traveling with him, was also found dead.

The victims were later identified as Boris Jozic and Cristina Jozic, a couple from Morton Grove, Illinois. The circumstances surrounding their deaths remain under investigation.
