Navpreet Dhaliwal Shooting, Abbotsford, BC Death, Gangster Killed in Abbotsford Shooting

The man shot dead in an Abbotsford home on Friday has been identified as Navpreet Dhaliwal, a known B.C. gangster who was previously facing a conspiracy to commit murder charge.

Dhaliwal had been the subject of a public police warning issued in August 2024, after he and fellow B.C. gang member Anmol Sandhu were released on bail pending trial.

According to Abbotsford Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Paul Walker, officers responded to a shots fired call at a residence in the 3200-block of Siskin Drive just after 12:35 p.m.

Police confirmed the victim died at the scene. No arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.

The killing marks another incident in what authorities describe as ongoing gang-related violence in the Fraser Valley region.
