The Norwalk Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on County Road 6, west of County Road 47, in Seneca Township, Seneca County

A 65-year-old Carey man was killed in a rollover crash late Wednesday morning in Seneca Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers from the Norwalk Post said the crash occurred on County Road 6 west of County Road 47 and was reported at 11:57 a.m. on Dec. 31, 2025. The driver was operating a blue 2008 Chevrolet Silverado pulling a 2005 Kerr-Bilt trailer while traveling westbound.

Investigators said the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned. The crash occurred on U.S. 224, near mile post 30 in Venice Township.

The crash occurred at 12:38 a.m. on U.S. 224, near mile post 30 in Venice Township. An SUV, operated by Morgan Patton, 30, of Attica, OH, was traveling east on U.S. 224, when she went left of center and off the left side of the road before overturning.
