NSW Police responded to a serious incident at the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Bondi Junction on Tuesday afternoon, where a person was found deceased in the car park area of the complex.

Police are continuing to investigate a mass shooting that resulted in 16 people dying and 40 people being injured in Sydney's east yesterday evening.
