ST. LOUIS: Authorities in Missouri are investigating a deadly incident after 81-year-old Fannie Allred was found fatally injured inside a home in St. Louis County. Police say the attack occurred Sunday morning, sending shockwaves through the local community.
According to charging documents, officers were called to the 8500 block of Jenny Drive shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, they discovered Fannie Allred on the floor of the home. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police also reported that the victim’s two French bulldogs were injured during the incident. Both animals survived and are expected to recover.
Suspect and Arrest Details
Investigators identified the victim’s grandson, 37-year-old Ronald Allred, as a suspect. Police say he had been seen at the home earlier and had stayed there the night before. Officers later located a vehicle connected to him near Calvary Cemetery.
The case remains under active investigation as the St. Louis community mourns the loss of Fannie Allred. Authorities say additional information will be released as court proceedings continue.
