FORT WORTH: Two people, including a 17-year-old girl, were killed Monday afternoon after a large fight involving an estimated 15 to 20 individuals broke out at a city park on Liberty Street, according to Fort Worth police.

Officers with the East Division were responding to an unrelated call nearby around 2:13 p.m. when they heard gunshots coming from the park area.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered one victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was later identified as 17-year-old Cyanna Boone, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Approximately five minutes later, police located a second shooting victim inside a vehicle on Handley Drive. Investigators believe the two cases are connected.
