The Aiken community is mourning the tragic and sudden loss of Kevin R. Parker, 46, whose life was taken in a fatal car crash early Saturday morning. The devastating incident occurred at approximately 2 a.m. on Good Springs Road near Confederate Road, leaving family, friends, and neighbors reeling from the news of a life cut far too short.
According to the Aiken County Coroner's Office, Kevin was involved in a single-vehicle traffic accident when the 2011 Cadillac SUV he was traveling in, heading west on Good Springs Road, veered off the roadway and struck a tree.
The impact caused Kevin to be ejected from the vehicle. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but tragically, Kevin was pronounced dead at 3:30 a.m.
Kevin was more than the victim of a tragic accident—he was a beloved son, a family member, a friend, and a valued member of the community. At 46, he had shared countless memories, experiences, and moments of connection with those who loved him.
