WILMINGTON, Del. — Delaware State Police confirmed that a trooper was killed during an active shooter situation at a DMV facility located on Hessler Boulevard in the Minquadale area of New Castle County on Tuesday afternoon.

Governor Matt Meyer stated that the suspect involved in the incident was also killed. Authorities say the situation has been contained and there is no longer an active threat.
