A 27-year-old has been arrested over the incident.
A man has died after being stabbed and then getting into a car accident in Melbourne's southeast.
The 36-year-old was in a car which collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Clyde-Five Ways Rd and Railways Rds in Clyde about 3.30pm on Monday.
He was found with a number of stab wounds and airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.
Police say two other men — aged 33 and 36 — were also in the car with the victim when it crashed.
It is believed the group were involved in an earlier alleged altercation at a home on Carrera Cres in Clyde.
Police say the 36-year-old victim was stabbed at the property and then left the scene in the car with the two other men.
