2 hurt in northwest Charlotte shooting, Medic says
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two people are recovering after a shooting in northwest Charlotte early Thursday morning, according to Medic.
The shooting happened on Firestone Drive, not far from Firestone Park and the McCrorey YMCA.

Medic said paramedics took two people to a local hospital where they are being treated for life-threatening injuries.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have not provided any additional details about the investigation at this time.
Self pleaded guilty pursuant to Alford to two counts of second-degree murder in January 2021. An Alford plea is when a defendant maintains innocence but acknowledges that prosecutors have enough evidence to secure a conviction, according to the UNC School of Government.
