Chicago West Side Shooting: 38-year-old man named Tim killed in targeted shooting on North Spaulding in East Garfield Park
CHICAGO (WLS) — Two men were shot, one fatally, Tuesday afternoon on Chicago’s West Side, according to Chicago police.
Authorities said a 38-year-old man and an 18-year-old man were standing in an alley in the 700 block of North Spaulding Avenue in the city’s East Garfield Park neighborhood just after 1:15 p.m.
Police reported that four suspects exited a vehicle, produced firearms, and began shooting at the two men.
The second victim, an 18-year-old man, was also struck by gunfire and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred around 1:17 p.m. in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. Police continue to investigate and have not announced any arrests.
