Following Fatal Motorcycle Accident

MERIDIAN, MS: Authorities have identified the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Friday afternoon on Highway 145.
The accident happened shortly after 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 145 and Crescent Lake Road. Reports indicate that a motorcycle collided with a Jeep that was turning left onto Crescent Lake Road.
The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Maurisio Hector Gonzalez Zuniga, 21, of Meridian.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the crash. Officials have not released further details at this time.
